BridgU Counseling

Licensed Mental Health Counselor, LCMHC
Accepting clients Last Updated 10 days ago

Hey! I'm Ivory Simmons, a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC). As a Winston-Salem State University alum, I earned my Bachelors in Rehabilitation and Human Services and Masters in Rehabilitation Counseling.
I have experience working with a variety of individuals including children, adolescents, and adults. I assist clients with depression, low self-esteem, anxiety, stress, life transitions, and more. I aim to help clients develop positive coping skills, improve self-love, find their inner voice, and develop a toolkit to use as needed. I believe in taking an integrated approach to therapy.
I operate from a Person Centered/ Solution Focused Therapeutic approach, emphasizing empathetic understanding, congruence, and being goal directed. I will always offer a safe and comfortable environment to empower you. I will focus on the solution rather than the problem. In our counseling relationship, we will work together to build a genuine empathetic non-judgmental relationship. We will strive to achieve your goals while providing strategies for desired change/outcome.
