Hello, I am an emotionally focused therapist interested in helping people improve their view of self and other, and to get more joy out of their relationships. I have a particular interest in healing trauma and working with adult children of emotionally immature parents.
Between the ages of 18-22 is a crucial time in a person's life. It is a time for independence and exploration as adults. A person also may begin to reflect on their childhood and family relationships with increasingly sophisticated insight and clarity. Family relationships and the processing of them have life long implications. Therapy is often needed to assist with the process so the person develops and grows with a positive view of self and other.
