The Artful Life Counseling Center and Studio is a unique and special counseling center located on Canal St in Salem MA and in the Cummings Center in Beverly MA that offers an alternative to talk therapy encouraging individuals to find their voice through the use and creation of art. On the days when you are at a loss for words, allow creative expression to speak for you, as one of our licensed therapists guides you to inner reflection.
Our goal is to create a client-centered, strengths-based, treatment plan that will fully address your needs as the client. Setting goals and attaining them is a core belief at our practice, and we want to ensure that you reach your goals in a way that works best for you. The demands of college life can be overwhelming, working with a skilled therapist can help you find balance in your busy schedule, navigate relationships, and curate skills to make each day more manageable.
The Artful Life is a group practice, meaning we have several therapists on staff with different skill sets, areas of expertise, and personalities. Some of our clinical specialties include: anxiety disorders, mood disorders, relationship issues, learning disabilities, trauma-informed treatment, LGBTQ, and life transitions. We encourage you to visit our website and view our “About Us” page, where you will find profiles for each therapist. Furthermore, check out our blog for updates and our FAQ page for more information on Expressive Arts Therapy and how it could be beneficial to you!
