Anxiety, depression and trauma can have a ripple effect throughout your whole life felt far beyond the obvious symptoms themselves. Perhaps you experience a paralyzing level of perfectionism ruled by lists and tasks or maybe you overschedule yourself to avoid thinking and feeling. Trauma can manifest itself in many ways and can have a significant impact on your daily life. In my practice, I specialize in working with young adults, individuals with childhood trauma and adult survivors of sexual and gender based violence with a focus on navigating daily life, relationships and boundaries to overcome these difficulties. I utilize a trauma informed approach and empower clients to be the expert of their own experience. My role is to provide the tools and support needed to reach collaboratively set goals. I pull from various evidence based practices to create a unique treatment approach for each client. Additionally, I'm in training to be an AASECT certified sex therapist. While I speak German, Armenian and Farsi, all services are provided in English. Therapy is a unique and highly vulnerable environment that can be intimidating to navigate at first. I am happy to schedule an initial free 15 minute consultation call to discuss your concerns and to determine if I am the best fit for your needs.

I help students in a variety of areas. Whether a person is struggling with relationship difficulties (friendships or intimate relationships), worry, fear, stress, sadness, worthlessness, guilt, shame or whatever, I help people establish their preferences for living, and to break free from these problems. People who consult me and achieve their goals are people who do not want to be told what to do, diagnosed, or labeled in any way. They are people who experience problems like anybody else, who deserve respect, and to be heard and understood. They connect to their preferred relationships and identity. They work hard to achieve their goals.

Hi, my name is Nathalie Torres and I am Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Hi, I’m Coreetha Entzminger, a Registered Psychological Associate with a deep commitment to supporting mental health and wellness for children, families, and individuals from all walks of life. Over the past ten years, I’ve worked as a crisis counselor and child advocate in both nonprofit and private practice settings, helping people navigate everything from trauma and anxiety to life transitions and stress. I’ve always been drawn to this work because I believe in the power of healing, growth, and connection—and I consider it a privilege to walk alongside my clients as they work toward positive change. In addition to my clinical work, I’m involved in several other areas that support mental health awareness and education. I’m a member of the American Psychological Association’s Division 53, which focuses on clinical child and adolescent psychology, and I’ve had the opportunity to contribute to research for both federal and county-level institutions in Washington, D.C. I also teach as an adjunct professor in the psychology department at Myrtle Beach College, where I create course content for undergraduate students. Sharing knowledge and helping others grow—whether in the classroom or in a community workshop—is a big part of who I am. Academically, I earned my Bachelor’s in Psychology from Montclair State University in New Jersey and a Master’s in Psychology from Arizona State University. I also hold certifications in child advocacy and applied behavior analysis, and I’m currently working toward my Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) at California Southern University. When I work with clients, I take a collaborative and compassionate approach. Therapy with me is very much a partnership—we work together to understand what’s going on, where you want to go, and how we can get there. I specialize in treating anxiety, trauma, special needs, stress, and major life transitions, and I often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI) to help clients better understand how their thoughts and emotions impact behavior. My goal is to create a space that feels safe, affirming, and stigma-free, where you feel supported and empowered to explore, heal, and grow. In our first session, I’ll take time to really get to know you and your story. We’ll talk about your background, what’s bringing you to therapy, and any patterns or experiences that might be influencing your current challenges. From there, we’ll shape each session around your needs and goals, always moving at a pace that feels right for you. I aim to strike a balance between being supportive and gently challenging—because sometimes a little push is what we need to move forward. If you’re thinking about therapy, know that you don’t have to figure it all out on your own. I’d be honored to support you on your journey.

At Highland Park Holistic Therapy we hold space for the totality of the person and their experiences, for all aspects of your experience - the physical, the spiritual and the psychological. This means we take an integrative approach to healing. We aim to bring consciousness to every part of you. We do not view a person in pain as someone who is broken that needs fixing. You are not just a diagnosis and a prescription. Rather, the symptoms that brought you here, like depression and anxiety, we see as signals that something in your psyche needs tending to and cared for. Instead of disowning what is hurting inside, or attacking yourself for how you feel, together, we will compassionately turn toward it to find out what it needs. This kind of exploration and internal integration brings about lasting relief, improved relationships, and whole-person well-being.

I am a psychologist based in the San Francisco Bay Area, and I have spent the past 10 years working with folks who are excited and curious about how they can learn to best care for themselves. In general, I tend work with clients who are looking for support around their career goals, including transitioning out of or into a career, finding a better work-school-life balance, establishing or refreshing professional skills/communication, or navigating the experience of college/career integration. I have a particular passion for working with clients in "helping" industries or in training, including healthcare, healthcare administration, mental health, and teaching. I also work regularly with clients who are struggling with depression, anxiety, and other mood regulation concerns. I have experience working with students, especially as they are exploring the next phase of their life. Transitions are sometimes moments of great growth and self-discovery, and often accompanied by great pain and confusion. I think addressing both side of the coin honestly and with support can help us navigate the tough stuff with a sense of clarity and hope. I currently work in a private practice clinic, and provide talk-therapy from a variety of clinical orientations. I usually go for a somewhat down-to-Earth approach when first working with someone: taking the time to learn more about what is and isn't working in their lives, thinking collaboratively with them about what some attainable long-term goals might look like, and then allowing us to settle into the process of engaging and tracking areas of growth as our work develops. Therapy is such a unique and personal process. This should work with and for you, even if it's not always easy. I'm open to meeting you and learning more...even if we aren't a great fit. I'm also happy to support your process in finding that next-right-one. I do my best to respond to voicemails and emails within 24 hours during the work week, and follow-up on all weekend inquiries by end of business on Mondays.

One of the greatest gifts I've received in my 19+ years of private practice, has been to witness individuals as they move towards healing, and discover a more fulfilling, whole life. The hold an eating disorder, anxiety or trauma can have on a life is profound. To watch the grip loosen, and healing emerge, is very moving. I enjoy learning, and collecting new tools and skills to help my clients. After I obtained my MSW from New York University's School of Social Work, I completed postgraduate training in eating disorders and body image issues at the Women's Therapy Centre Institute, and in Trauma Studies at the Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy. In addition, I completed a three-year training in Somatic Experiencing, and have assisted at professional trainings, helping other therapists to learn the model. I've led eating disorder groups for New York University's Counseling Center and various non-profit organizations, and have served as both a lecturer and group case consultant on eating disorders and trauma at postgraduate institutes in New York City. Interested in creating a culturally and spiritually sensitive practice, I completed a two-year program studying the world's major faith traditions, in an effort to better understand my clients from all backgrounds. I do not take any insurance. My fees range from $150-175 based on need, and I do not presently have a sliding scale beyond that range. If you have questions, or would like to request an appointment, please feel free to contact me. I offer ONLINE ONLY therapy in CA, CO and NY.

The first step to seeking help can be intimidating and the most difficult. Therapy can bring clarity and an expanded view of what’s possible. The more we understand ourselves and our experiences, the more control we have over living a life that is congruent with who we are. As your therapist, I will support you in navigating difficult emotions, better understanding yourself and accessing your strengths so you can feel like yourself again. I specialize in treating adults who are experiencing life transitions, anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. I create a non-judgmental space that promotes curiosity and healing. As a registered art therapist, I’m trained in providing art-based and traditional therapy sessions. I want to help you thrive and to not feel defined by the challenges you face but the resilience you possess. If you are looking for relief from challenging symptoms or looking for someone to offer consistent care and support, I encourage you to reach out and schedule a free consultation.
