I specialize in mental health support and dual-diagnostic treatment for adults and adolescents, with a focus on helping individuals navigate co-occurring mental health and substance use concerns. I also support clients experiencing stress and anxiety, perfectionism, difficulties with emotion regulation, and challenges in relationships or daily functioning. No matter what you’re facing, we develop practical skills together for managing symptoms, creating meaningful life changes, and strengthening your relationships and self-understanding. I believe in meeting you wherever you are in each moment, whether you're processing challenges, celebrating strengths, building skills, or exploring new goals. I look forward to connecting with you and supporting your journey! My clinical approach is trauma-informed and holistic, recognizing the interconnectedness of your values, relationships, and life experiences. Using skills-based, strengths-based, and emotion-focused interventions, I support your healing and lasting change in a warm, goal-oriented space grounded in empathy and validation for your unique experience. While I draw on Internal Family Systems (IFS), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), I tailor interventions to align with your values, life context, and goals. My path to becoming a therapist grew from my own lived experience with mental health and a genuine passion for connection and growth. This combination of lived experience and clinical practice allows me to provide you with meaningful care. I love traveling, exploring cute coffee shops and restaurants, golfing, board game nights, and anything involving quality time with friends and family.

Beginning therapy—or starting with a new therapist—can feel vulnerable and daunting. As a Licensed Social Worker (LSW), I create a space that feels welcoming, non-judgmental, and safe to support adults who are ready to improve their well-being and navigate life’s transitions with greater clarity, resilience, and self-compassion. My specialties include perinatal mental health and women’s mental health across the lifespan, along with mood and anxiety disorders, stress management, attachment disorders, and more. When working together, you are assured a warm and non-pathologizing approach to care that is grounded in humility and respect for the courage it takes to share your story. I believe each person is the expert in their own life. Therapy is, therefore, a collaborative process, where I listen deeply and work with you to clarify your goals and move toward healing and greater well-being at a pace that feels right for you. Together, we attend not only to areas of pain, but also to your strengths, values, and passions. My approach is warm, person-centered, and strengths-based, drawing flexibly from a range of evidence-based modalities. These include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Narrative Therapy, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy. In addition, I am trained in the Gottman Method (Level 1) and use Gottman techniques in my work with couples. As a clinician with lived experience as a mother and more than ten years of experience as an educator, I bring a deep understanding of family systems, child development, and the realities of parenting. This background allows me to support mothers and families with both compassion and practical insight. When I’m not in the office, I love reading, spending time in nature, taking in all kinds of art, and having adventures with my family.

Do you feel worried or insecure, overwhelmed or numb? Do you feel scared or anxious about social interactions or events happening in the world? Are you struggling to feel able to navigate transitions and stressors that you are facing in life and school? I want you to know that you are not alone in how you are feeling and that I genuinely believe you can find connection, calm, and confidence through engaging in therapy. I also want you to know that I have faced similar challenges to the ones above and have found great healing through interventions that I offer in my therapy practice. My approach in therapy is to constantly be aware of the "whole picture" that impacts each person (oppressive systems, laws, history, world events, family systems, education systems, and relational interactions) while also focusing on the "here and now" of what you are experiencing. The majority of sessions with me are outdoors, in public parks and on trails, to encourage re-connecting to yourself and to the natural world. I also offer sessions indoors and online when the weather does not allow us to be outdoors safely. I am an active participant in each session, whether I am listening, guiding a mindfulness or experiential activity, or being with you in the emotions and experiences that are coming up. My hope is that through our work together, you will be able to re-connect to yourself, find grounding and a sense of peace by connecting to nature, and learn concrete tools and practices that help make navigating daily life more manageable. I recognize that this work can be difficult, takes time, and does not have a clear map. I believe in walking through the journey together, wherever it may lead, with curiosity and empathy along the way.

I am a therapist specializing in a wide range of concerns, including ADHD, anxiety, depression, identity issues, LGBTQIA+ identity and relationships, life transitions, men's health, relationship issues, self-esteem, sexual health, stress management, and student mental health — working with patients of all ages. With more than eight years of experience in direct care mental health settings and a background as a former educator, I bring a unique perspective to the therapeutic relationship. I believe that healing is a collaborative process and am committed to working alongside people from all walks of life to help you navigate your challenges and discover solutions that are right for you. My practice is founded on evidence-based and integrative modalities, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), humanistic, and collaborative approaches. Rather than applying a one-size-fits-all method, I tailor therapy to meet you where you are. My goal is to create a space where processing your experiences, build new understanding, and work toward meaningful goals all come together, so that every session moves you forward in a way that feels both grounded and purposeful. My path to becoming a therapist grew naturally out of my work as an educator. Many of my former students sought me out specifically, recognizing that they needed someone to direct and honest with them about their patterns and behaviors. Being surrounded by therapists throughout that time, I found myself continually inspired by the depth and impact of their work. That inspiration led me here. Today, I bring that same directness into the therapy room, helping you explore how your feelings and emotions connect to your history and how patterns, often without our awareness. By shining a light on those cycles, we can begin to understand them and, together, find a new way forward. Outside of the office, you can find me practicing hot yoga, spending time outdoors, playing video games, making art, or catching up on reality TV. These varied interests keep me grounded and remind me of the importance of joy, creativity, and rest, all values I bring into my work with you.

Hi there! I work with people who come to therapy for all sorts of reasons, but often because they want to feel better about who they are. Maybe you feel alone or like you're not sure where you're going in life, or your family isn't what you wish it was. As a a therapist, I like to help people look beneath the surface, beyond the symptoms, and understand what’s really going on. Why *do* you get anxious? Why does it feel like something’s missing? Maybe you know what you should do, but you just can’t seem to bring yourself to do it. Getting a better understanding of how your life has shaped who you are today can help make some of those things feel less confusing—and sometimes make change feel a little more possible. I have a particular soft spot for working with people who feel alone or different in some kind of way. While I may or may not have lived through the same things, I work hard to make therapy feel like a place where you can share those parts of yourself and maybe feel a little less alone. Before going into therapy, I spent over a decade working in tech, doing data analytics and software engineering at both big corporations and startups. This gives me a unique perspective on what post-college life might look like, as well as an appreciation for some of the challenges tech poses for people just starting their careers.
Our mission is to provide quality mental health therapy and recovery services by offering individual therapy to children, adolescents and adults, group counseling, clinical supervision, and training. We are dedicated to resilience, connection, and engagement for the betterment of the community.
