Figuring out who you are and what you want while in college is such a powerful but stressful time. Not to mention trying to navigate friendships, family, your own mental health, and possibly figuring out other identity pieces, too (such as sexuality, gender identity, or possible neurodivergence). I get how confusing and big things can feel and I would absolutely love to dive into all of the things that are important to you. Helping you sort through your emotions, ideas, boundaries, relationships, values, identity, and where you want to go in life (and attempt to take care of yourself in the process). I bring creativity, humor, experiential approaches (art or somatic work), and trauma-informed perspectives to how I work. I am also a queer and neurodivergent identified therapist, so I understand the process of coming to understand yourself when you feel different from the world around you.

I help college students with anxiety, ADHD and family conflict. I specialize in helping them with the uncertainty of being on their own, the pressure of pleasing their family, and working through relationship stressors to graduate. Most of my clients are young men making a transition to launching and women that feel judged by other women and family.

College and early adulthood can feel overwhelming, isolating, and confusing, and you don’t have to navigate it alone. As a therapist, I’m committed to creating a space where students feel seen, supported, and empowered to navigate both the challenges and growth opportunities that come with college life. My approach blends compassion, collaboration, and trauma-informed practices to help students build resilience, deepen self‑understanding, and move toward meaningful change. I work with individuals facing concerns such as anxiety, depression, identity exploration, relationship stress, academic pressure, and career counseling. My goal is to meet each client with curiosity and respect, honoring their unique story and personal strengths. I understand as a student how hectic academic life can be. I strive to facilitate a therapeutic space where individuals can freely communicate their feelings, find their own voice, and process their experiences. Together, we identify what’s getting in the way and develop useful tools to support emotional well‑being and personal thriving. If you are interested in beginning therapy or have any questions about my therapy services I am happy to chat by phone or email.

Dude, life be lifing, huh? You are SO not alone in that. Living in late-stage capitalism is enough for all of us to go to therapy. Your unique experiences and circumstances shape how you move through the world and navigating them can be burdensome. The good news? You don't have to keep pretending everything is okay. Here, you don't have to perform, filter, or pretend. I offer a relaxed, approachable space where you can show up exactly as you are, and I'd be honored to exist in that space with you.

Many of the students I work with appear to have everything under control, yet privately feel overwhelmed, anxious, or unsure of themselves. You may be struggling with stress, perfectionism, relationships, family expectations, loneliness, depression, or major life transitions. Some students are navigating identity, independence, or the challenges of balancing academics, work, and personal life, or simply feel stuck in patterns they don't fully understand. My goal is to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can better understand yourself, build resilience, strengthen relationships, and create lasting change.

Whatever is bringing you to therapy, I believe in creating a space to meet what’s here with curiosity, kindness, and support. Hi, I’m Megan. I’m a somatic therapist and have been in practice for 10 years. I work with colleges students and young adults to meet what’s coming up, be it anxiety, overwhelm, relationship challenges, life transitions, questions of identity, past experiences, or whatever may be happening for you. I support my clients through present moment connection, helping you listen more deeply to what's here, and making space for your experience to be seen and met. One of the things I love about somatic therapy is the understanding that we all have an innate impulse toward health and wholeness inside of us. I meet my clients where they are, and help create the conditions so your inner wisdom can come through and you can feel more at home in yourself and your life.

Life can feel overwhelming and hard. Trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, chronic pain, relationship difficulties, identity questions, and major life transitions can leave you feeling disconnected from yourself and uncertain about how to move forward. At Evolve in Nature, we believe therapy should provide a safe, compassionate, judgment-free, and shame-free space where you can speak openly, explore what you are experiencing, and feel supported as you work toward meaningful change. Our approach goes beyond traditional talk therapy. We recognize that difficult experiences can affect the mind, body, nervous system, relationships, and the way you experience the world. Our clinicians use individualized, trauma-informed, and evidence-based approaches that may include EMDR, somatic and body-centered therapy, mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, psychodynamic therapy, attachment-based work, psychological education, and nature-based interventions. Rather than simply addressing symptoms, we help clients better understand the patterns and experiences beneath them while developing practical skills for emotional regulation, resilience, healthier relationships, and lasting growth. Evolve in Nature offers individual, couples, and group therapy for adults and young adults facing a wide range of emotional, relational, and life challenges. Areas of support include trauma and PTSD, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, chronic illness and pain, relationship concerns, emotional regulation, identity exploration, LGBTQ+ concerns, adult children of alcoholics, and other experiences that may interfere with feeling connected, grounded, and fulfilled. Psychiatric medication management is also available for individuals who may benefit from medication as part of a thoughtful and collaborative treatment plan. Therapy may take place in our welcoming Boulder office, virtually, or outdoors when nature-based work is appropriate and meaningful to the client. Outdoor therapy may involve walking, sitting in a natural environment, or intentionally using nature to support grounding, reflection, nervous-system regulation, and connection. Nature does not replace the therapeutic relationship; it offers another setting and resource through which healing and personal growth can occur. Beginning therapy can feel vulnerable or intimidating. You do not need to have everything figured out before reaching out, and you do not need to carry everything alone. At Evolve in Nature, we meet you where you are, take time to understand your experiences and goals, and work collaboratively to determine the support that is right for you. Healing is possible. Growth is possible. You are capable of evolving into a more connected, resilient, and authentic version of yourself.

Hi, I’m Michelle. I’m a mindfulness-based therapist who works with college students navigating anxiety, relationships, self-doubt, and the sometimes messy process of figuring yourself out. I offer a warm, collaborative, and trauma-informed space where you can slow down, feel understood, and make sense of what’s happening beneath the surface. Together, we’ll work toward feeling more grounded, confident, and connected to yourself. You don’t need to have everything figured out before you come to therapy. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck in patterns you want to change, struggling in a relationship, or simply wanting to understand yourself more deeply, we can start exactly where you are. My approach may incorporate mindfulness, somatic and nervous-system work, attachment-based therapy, and EMDR when appropriate.

I'm Dr. Caroline Mazzer, a licensed psychologist working with college-age clients using CBT (Cognitive Behavior Therapy) and DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy). I help clients who are struggling with anxiety, difficulty managing intense emotions, self-injury, suicidal thoughts, and mood disorders. College brings a lot of emotional intensity: new independence, new pressures, and often new or worsening struggles with mood and self-regulation. In our work together, you'll build concrete DBT skills for tolerating distress, regulating emotion, and staying safe, alongside a therapeutic relationship where you feel genuinely supported.

I'm Dr. Olivia Shaffer, a psychologist candidate working with teens and adults, including college students. I specialize in treating OCD, trauma, eating disorders, depression, and anxiety. I know how disruptive intrusive thoughts, difficult past experiences, or a complicated relationship with food and body image can be, especially while you're also trying to keep up with classes, relationships, and everything else college throws at you. I take an evidence-based, collaborative approach and want therapy to feel like a place where you're genuinely understood, not just diagnosed.
