I strongly believe that a safe, empathetic, non-judgmental environment is a place that fosters acceptance and growth. You may find yourself faced with life challenges that feel almost impossible to handle, and the need to have your thoughts and concerns heard and validated. I will walk with you on your journey to self-discovery and self-compassion, as well as provide you with the opportunity to find and apply your strengths to your daily life. We will work to identify and challenge any barriers to growth that may be holding you back from effectively navigating and tolerating the uncomfortable emotions and challenging situations that can arise unexpectedly. I use an eclectic approach to counseling tailored to my client and their needs. I believe that building trust between the client and counselor is of the utmost importance in a therapeutic relationship. I have experience working with a variety of clients with varying mental health needs such as eating disorders, body image concerns, depression, anxiety, adjustment to life changes, grief/loss, substance use/abuse, and trauma. I graduated from Georgia Gwinnett College with BS in Clinical Psychology in 2017 and from Mercer University with an MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2020. I also completed my 200 hour yoga teacher training at Ebb and Flow Yoga, Spa, & Float in 2017. I have experience working with adolescent, young adult, and adult women in the field of eating disorders, mood disorders, depression, and anxiety. I also like to incorporate my yoga teachings into my counseling where appropriate. I am a mother, spouse, avid reader, counselor, yogi, and friend. But most importantly I am human and I understand how difficult being human can be sometimes. Therefore, I will seek to hear and understand your world and struggles you face in that world. I believe I can help by offering a compassionate ear, coping skills, and a safe place to process emotions. When you fall in love, mating hormones cause everything to be so easy: the touching, kissing, making love, listening, being heard, talking about anything and sometimes communicating without words. In six months, the hormones lose effect and loving loses the easy. Now we can teach you skills to get the easy loving back every day. Email us at lanestokes18@yahoo.com to reserve day and time to take the classes. Couples and Marriage Counseling is all about talking. We are all about action. Learn more at CounselingServicesAtlanta.com Lane Stokes, Founder KEY WORD is ACTION! We are moving rapidly from counseling to teaching because no time is wasted in talking about what is hoped for. You are getting it right then! Of course, teaching is a brand new concept so we continue to offer counseling for those unwilling to try something new. We treat mental illnesses and conditions, shame, guilt, anger, depression, anxiety, sadness, loneliness and worry. We also teach cutting edge classes for controlling emotions, discovering how others see us and changing that to something more preferred, teaching clients how to increase self-esteem and self-confidence, understanding personality conflicts that destroy relationships both personal and business and more. I am Lane, easy to talk with, caring, non-judgmental and eager to help. Please email me at lanestokes18@yahoo.com and lets chat about all that we can do for you. Consultation is complimentary. If you think the fee of $190 is too much, consider the speed with which we work. I can teach you in five hours what it would take you five years to learn in weekly counseling about emotions. Try to get that from counselors who charge less.

It all starts with a good therapist. Hi, I’m Dr. Dominique Thomas. I specialize in supporting students who feel overwhelmed, stretched thin, or like they’re carrying more than people realize. Many of the students I work with are balancing academics, mental health, family expectations, and relationship struggles, all while trying to figure out who they are and what matters most to them. If your mind feels like it’s always going, or you’re juggling a lot emotionally and mentally, you’re not alone band you don’t have to figure it all out on your own. I work best with students navigating ADHD, anxiety, stress, low self-esteem, identity questions, family conflict, and relationship challenges. You might be the strong one in your circle, the first in your family to pursue higher education, or someone who shows up for others while silently burning out. This space is for you. In therapy, we’ll explore the patterns and pressures shaping your experience and create practical, affirming strategies that actually work for your life. My approach is warm, culturally sensitive, and collaborative. I meet you where you are and help you move toward where you want to be with more clarity, confidence, and peace. If you’re feeling stuck, misunderstood, or just emotionally exhausted, know that support is available and healing is possible. I’m here to walk with you.

Cheers to you for starting (or continuing) your mental wellness journey! This part is not easy- but you can feel proud for doing so! Therapy with me will feel like a safe space to have meaningful and transformative dialogue. Together, we will identify a treatment plan that will help you in navigating: life transitions, relationships, trauma, breakups, family concerns, stress/anxiety, work/career issues, thinking patterns, self-esteem, etc. I believe our thoughts are pivotal in how we see others, ourselves, and the world. If you struggle with negative thought patterns, often feel “in your head” and struggle to thrive in your day to day, let’s talk! I have extensive training and experience with reframing unhelpful thoughts, imposter syndrome, decreasing stress & anxiety symptoms, and self-image concerns. Let’s work together to improve the relationship with yourself and others! My commitment to clients is to show up authentically, and to provide a safe space that allows you to do the same! While the work of therapy can be challenging and complex, I do my best to make it enjoyable, productive, and worthwhile! Please feel free to contact me with questions or to schedule your first session! Take care!
