If you are looking for someone who can help you find a successful transition to your new world, I can help. Currently accepting new clients with Friday afternoon/evening and Saturday all day availability! In my therapy practice, I offer a compassionate and warm approach that doesn't feel like you are talking to someone who has it all together. As someone who has been there too, I offer you an authentic approach to learning skills that can help bring you peace and understanding towards yourself. Let me help you learn how to be kinder to yourself and move towards curiosity and understanding of your specific unique needs and how to communicate those needs in your relationships. Sometimes our lives can feel like we are on a roller coaster full of highs and lows. Often when we feel stuck in the chaos, we turn to things that relieve comfort temporarily but end up hurting us in the long run. If you are ready to understand why it is you do the things you do and how you can relieve your pain without hurting yourself, I can help. Living with mental health symptoms is a battle that not everyone understands. I encourage you to reach out if you are desiring someone who will walk alongside you as you discover who you are in a safe setting. I look forward to watching you transform into who you've always dreamed of becoming.
We are licensed psychologists who've been working with students for 20+ years. We understand and care about college student concerns -- from adjusting to campus life, navigating friend-groups, reflecting on family, and making your way academically. We can help. In addition, we're "PsyPact certified" in 42 states and counting, which means when you head home for breaks or intern out of state, there's a really good chance we can provide continued support so you can maintain the gains you've made.
As a Notre Dame graduate, I have a unique understanding of the Notre Dame experience. As a Latino, I understand the challenges of being a minority on campus. My training includes traditional talk therapy and in the past eleven years, extensive training in working with anxiety and depression that is rooted in past trauma. I conduct sessions in Spanish if need be. I have the perspective of having grown up in an academic family. My father was a member of the Notre Dame faculty for 26 years. I know that the rigors of modern university attendance cause many students to abuse mood altering substances. I am trained in chemical dependence issues.

Life can be difficult. Counseling shouldn’t be. When you’re struggling to cope with the challenges in your life, starting therapy is a courageous step toward change. In a complex world, we believe in straightforward, compassionate support. If you are feeling out of balance or in distress, it can feel defeating to reach out for help and be met with unreturned calls, waitlists, or therapists who are not taking new clients. Not addressing your issues with a professional can often lead to an increase of symptoms while you wait for your first appointment. We believe that you shouldn’t have to go through this alone. At Counseling Simplified, we help you feel better. We have no waitlists, evening and weekend appointments, and many of our therapists can see you within a week of your first contact. We make the process easy because we understand that you don’t need any more stress. At Counseling Simplified, we meet you where you are at and help you heal. At Counseling Simplified, we value your unique experiences and guide our sessions with genuine curiosity and we continually expand our areas of expertise to meet diverse needs. You are trying to hold it all together, but just can’t take it anymore. You’ve hit your breaking point and don’t know what to do. Self-doubt, over-thinking everything, questioning what will make you happy. It seems like everyone else has it figured out, but you can't get it together. This is supposed to be the best time of your life, but you can't seem to enjoy it, and you need help. My name is Jennifer Branstetter, and I help students who are struggling and overwhelmed with their mental health. It might be hard to keep up with school, and maybe this is the first time you've ever struggled academically and you're wondering if something's wrong with you. Anxiety, depression, PTSD, or ADHD symptoms can interfere with forming friendships or having the "college experience" and maybe you're questioning if you made the right school choice. Maybe you aren't connecting socially or feel like you fit in. Sometimes the transition to college can be a lot harder than expected, or something like a breakup can throw you for a loop. It's common for students in this situation to feel an immense amount of pressure. Sometimes it feels like you can't talk to anyone else about it. Therapy can be a place to get it all out, figure out what is contributing to the problem, and come up with a plan to get better. It's time to get some support. You don't have to do this alone. My practice has been virtual since 2018 from my home office in Southeast Indiana, outside of Cincinnati. I see people in Indiana, Ohio, and Florida. If you have a therapist at home, I'd be happy to connect with them to make the transition easier, and stay on the same page if you see them on breaks. I can also help connect you with on-campus resources or medication providers if needed. Reach out to schedule a call to see if we're a good fit.

Culture, identity, and expression are essential to happiness. However, for some of us, this is a challenge to embrace. I work collaboratively with my clients to help them embrace their true selves and accept what we cannot change. People frequently limit themselves based on old assumptions & expectations, and it can be freeing to start to untangle this. The emotional pain caused by these issues can often be isolating, and it can be healing to have somebody else there with you to explore and process. My approach to therapy is to use self-understanding and awareness as a mechanism for change. While my style is primarily insight-oriented, I have an eclectic approach incorporating various therapeutic methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Person-Centered Therapy. The therapeutic relationship is the foundation of effective therapy. My first session is exploring our fit and discussing realistic expectations and outcomes. También ofrezco sesiones en Español si es necesario o lo prefiere.
My goal is to help you develop healthier ways of thinking, feeling, and relating. My style is warm, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based practice. I draw from interpersonal, cognitive-behavioral, and acceptance and commitment therapy approaches to create a space that feels safe, compassionate, and tailored to you. Together, we’ll work to understand your experiences, develop new coping strategies, strengthen your resilience, and help you move toward the life you want. I believe therapy works best when it’s a partnership—one where you feel seen, heard, and empowered.
Why does it always feel like the to-do list is never-ending and what’s done is never quite enough? You are diligent about keeping on top of things and it’s gotten you pretty far. Yet, you find yourself asking “I’m running myself ragged for this?” Work-life balance? Who has time for that! Well, you are not alone. Like you, the individuals I work with tend to be busy, successful, professionals who feel stressed, anxious, and unsatisfied and struggle with burnout and imposter syndrome. They seem like they have it all together but live in fear of dropping the ball while trying to juggle all the other ones in the air. Sound familiar? The good news is that it doesn’t have to be this way. I help you sort out what needs to change and how to create a life where you feel excited and fulfilled. None of that is easy, but it is doable. My approach is genuine, kind, and challenging with a bit of cheerleader because we all need a friendly push sometimes with someone encouraging us along the way. You’re busy and don’t have time or energy to spend on things that don’t work. I use evidence-based strategies customized to meet your unique needs. Together we’ll create a plan that works for you. I offer individual therapy exclusively online as well as other services such as workshops and mindfulness. Contact me for a free consultation.
Hi, I’m Christina Cornejo, LCSW. I’ve been providing therapy for about eight years, and my passion lies in supporting young adults who are navigating the overwhelming transition into adulthood. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, or even unsure, my goal is to help you feel more grounded and confident in who you are becoming. I believe in meeting you where you are offering a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where you can be honest, feel heard, and grow at your own pace. Therapy isn’t about having it all figured out; it’s about having someone walk with you as you discover your path. My practice focuses on breaking intergenerational patterns, strengthening communication, and untangling the internal conflicts that arise when you’re stepping from teens to adulthood, or into a new life transition such as a school, relationship, and/or job. Let's work on discovering yourself. I understand the pressure that can come from school, family expectations, and trying to figure out who you are in a world that doesn’t always reflect your experience. My passion is helping you recognize and unlearn harmful patterns so you can start to redefine yourself on your own terms.
I specialize in working with LGBTQIA+ and neurodiverse individuals. I have experience assisting people in working on mood and anxiety disorders, grief and identity exploration.
In the treatment of eating disorders and eating related concerns, Dr. Duffy works from an integrative approach and often uses methods from cognitive behavioral, acceptance and commitment, and interpersonal theories. She sees eating disorders as a multidimensional disorder and thus strongly believes in a multidisciplinary approach. This means that individuals with eating disorders most often have psychological, medical, and nutritional causes and consequences of their disorder and require treatment in each area for a full recovery. With written permission from the client, she works with local dietitians and physicians to provide collaborative care. In addition to work around eating disorders and eating-related concerns, therapy will also address related issues such as anxiety, depression, and family concerns.
We offer psychological testing to individuals aged 16 and older. We specialize in evaluations for ADHD, autism, and complex mental health concerns. We are focused on neurodiversity and other aspects of diversity, especially in regard to sexual orientation and gender identity. You can begin the testing process by scheduling a free 15 minute phone consultation from the website.
