Therapists for college students near Boston, MA
Hello! I am a therapist at Cory Cove Wellness located in Auburn, MA. I am a registered play therapist and utilize expressive arts, sand, play (yes even for adults), parts work, and more traditional methods. Cory Cove is comprised of a team of mental health providers who utilize a healing-centered framework that is grounded in an understanding of and responsiveness to the impact of trauma, creating opportunities for emotional safety and for survivors to rebuild empowerment. Some of us offer in person and virtual, while others are only virtual. I offer both and have openings. I am happy to connect with potential clients as well as connect with my team if they would like other options!
College is a challenge, on its own, in many ways. It can cause significant stress as well as trigger new or exacerbate existing mental health symptoms. Having space to work through the stress or symptoms you are experiencing can be incredibly beneficial (e.g. reduced stress, increased happiness, decrease in symptoms and/or severity, etc.), which can contribute to greater success and a greater overall experience during these years. I believe in creating a safe, supportive, nonjudgmental, and confidential therapy space that respects all identities and backgrounds where people can feel free to be their most authentic selves. I strive for people to feel comfortable in letting go of filters that tend to restrict them in honest disclosure and deep processing of their experiences. Thank you for taking the time to read about the practice and considering Sage Serenity Counseling. Please reach out if you have questions or would like to get started. I am ready to support you whenever you are ready!
Life often gives unexpected challenges. I am here to provide the safe space and encouragement to process how your past experiences impact your present and to support you in finding solutions, healthy development, and emotional growth. My approach includes a person-centered, person-informed model of care. This may include the use of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma Focused CBT, Solution Focused Therapy as well as a range of other modalities to best fit your circumstance and goals. We will work together to overcome the complexities in your life, validating your journey and empowering you to thrive while encouraging you to heal and grow.
I am a Harvard-trained and affiliated clinical psychologist with a practice in Concord, Massachusetts. I have practiced in Boston and have worked with many college and graduate students over the years. Offering both in-person and virtual appointments, I work with adults of all ages struggling with relationships or family difficulties, depression and anxiety, adjusting to new environments or life situations, grief, identity, and other issues. My approach has an emphasis on insight-oriented ("talk") therapy, but I use cognitive and emotion regulation approaches as well, tailored to what you need. I also offer single session therapy appointments. Please see my website for more information. Seeking therapy can be stressful and confusing. Please contact me with any questions. *Please note: I offer a reduced fee for college and graduate students*
Many of the people I work with feel overwhelmed by anxiety, upsetting intrusive thoughts, or past emotional wounds that continue to affect their relationships, confidence, and sense of safety. They are ready for relief, connection, and to feel more in control of their lives. I help clients by providing specialized treatments for anxiety conditions, OCD, body-focused repetitive behaviors (BFRBs), perfectionism, and the deep echoes of trauma—from relational and intergenerational wounds to betrayal trauma. I believe therapy can help us grow, even through deep pain. My role is to help you approach yourself with curiosity and compassion while guiding you toward healing and meaningful change. If this feels like the right fit for you then let's connect.

I’m passionate about helping people work through anxiety, depression, cope with loss, and embrace their authentic selves. My approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and strength-based therapy, helping you recognize patterns that may be keeping you stuck while drawing on your natural resilience and inner strengths. I’m especially passionate about supporting members of the LGBTQIA+ community, offering an inclusive environment where all identities are welcomed and respected. I’m a Certified Advanced Grief Counseling Specialist (CAGCS) dedicated to helping individuals navigate grief, loss, and major life transitions with compassion and care. Using the TEAR Model—which focuses on Telling your story, Experiencing the pain, Adjusting to life without your loved one, and Reinvesting in new relationships and goals. Whether you’re coping with the death of a loved one, exploring your identity, or adjusting to a new stage of life, I offer a safe and affirming space where your story is honored and your healing can unfold. Together, we’ll work toward healing, balance, and renewed meaning—at your pace and in your own way.
Are you stuck? Overwhelmed? Unsure of who you are and what you want? My style is compassionate, intuitive and direct. I offer an empowered approach to healing. I empower you to become a conscious co-creator of your life. I use my own life experiences to assist you in shedding shame and getting unstuck. I use tools, education and workshops to empower and enlighten you. I view symptoms as a sign one is out of alignment with their truth, rather than as a symptom to be treated. When we were not mirrored properly as children, we get stuck settling for less than we deserve in our life, work + relationships as adults. Emotional neglect erodes self-trust and lowers self-worth. I help you clear the lens you see yourself through.
Hi, I help young adults manage their mental health medications via telehealth, and provide education about balancing medication use with a healthy lifestyle. Medication is not a quick-fix, or an all encompassing solution, but it can help! Unfortunately, because we are currently telehealth only, we are not prescribing stimulants (for ADHD treatment or narcolepsy) to new patients. We can continue existing prescriptions if patient has a PCP that they see yearly. Please contact me or sign up for a new patient appointment on my website if you feel that our practice might be right for you.
My name is Rebekah, and I work with young adults seeking insight and change who are willing to explore the barriers getting in the way of living the life they want to live. If you are seeking more authenticity and flexibility in your life and want freedom from symptoms holding you back, I can help. I have over a decade of experience working with college students, including time at University of Pittsburgh, Boston College, and MIT. My approach values the interconnection of mind and body, as well as the profound impact of past relationships on present functioning. Through insight building, self-compassion, and emotion regulation, we work toward sustainable behavior change that fosters a life of purpose and meaning. As a therapist, I take an accepting and curious stance aimed at providing you with empathy and empowerment. My work is rooted in appreciation for self-determination and deep respect for the unique identities you bring to the room. I offer telehealth services and in-person appointments at my office in Catskill, NY. I look forward to connecting!

Maybe you're struggling to identify what would help, or you already know what to do, but can't seem to find the motivation to follow through. Maybe you can imagine just what you want for yourself, but you get stuck when it comes to making changes you can stick with, leaving you frustrated, embarrassed, or disheartened. I am currently accepting new clients with evening and weekend availability. My practice is rooted in the core assumption that people are doing the best they can at any given moment. I work with adolescents, adults, couples, and families who desire change and want to reduce their suffering. My primary focus is helping individuals navigate life transitions related to adjustment to college, relationships, career, and identity. Together, we’ll work toward healing patterns that no longer serve you and develop practical skills for lasting change. I view my clinical work through a trauma-informed lens with a focus on empowering individuals through identifying and utilizing their strengths, resources, and resilience. My specialties include depression, anxiety, trauma/PTSD, low self-esteem, and family conflict. I spent the first 5 years of my career receiving extensive training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy at McLean Hospital, a leading psychiatric facility affiliated with Harvard Medical School. I believe that all people have the capacity for change and healing. My aim is to work collaboratively with you to bring about insight and personal growth. I look forward to connecting with you!
If you're trying to break unhealthy patterns in your life—whether they are things you've learned from your family or habits you’ve noticed in how you treat yourself and others—you’re in the right place. As two first-generation Latina therapists, we understand how hard it can be to figure out what’s not working in your life and try to change it, especially if going to therapy isn't something that's normalized within your family or community. We know that the path you are on can feel isolated and overwhelming. Which is why we created Sin Miedo Counseling - to support cycle-breakers like you. We offer counseling that is warm, authentic, and nonjudgmental so you can feel that you have someone who has your back while you work towards the change you want to see in your life. If you are feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or down, we can help by offering strategies to help you regulate your nervous system and challenge that inner critic who is telling you that you don't deserve joy or rest in your life. If you're nervous about starting counseling, that's okay. We got you and we'd be honored to join you in your journey.
