Our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is built for students like you—maybe you’re a Merrimack Warrior stressed out from exams and turning to drinking or drugs to cope, or a commuter student from Lawrence feeling trapped by a gambling habit that’s spiraled out of control. We connect best with those who are juggling school, work, or campus vibes but finding that substance use or betting is throwing them off track. We’re a great fit for students who are ready to face the mess—whether it’s partying too hard to numb the pressure, skipping classes because of a hangover, or losing cash you can’t afford on bets—and want to get back to feeling steady without dropping everything. Our clients often share a craving to reclaim their focus—to nail that paper, hang with friends without needing a drink, or just wake up clear-headed. Located just a couple miles from Merrimack College in North Andover, we’re easy to reach from Andover, Methuen, or Haverhill, and we’ve got your schedule covered with morning, afternoon, and evening IOP sessions. Got daytime classes? Our evening options let you hit the books during the day and get support after. With flexible sessions to match your life—mornings for early risers, afternoons for between-class gaps, or evenings to keep your days free—we’re here to help you break free from addiction and get back to thriving. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply not like yourself lately, you’re not alone—and you don’t have to figure it out on your own. I’m a nurse practitioner with over 20 years of experience in healthcare, and I believe the best care happens when we work together. As a dual board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner, I look at your mental and physical health as parts of the same, connected story—not separate issues. In our work together, you can expect a compassionate, collaborative, and nonjudgmental space where you feel truly heard. I take a holistic and individualized approach, helping you understand what’s behind your symptoms, explore treatment options in clear, practical terms, and build strategies that fit your life and goals. I’ve supported people from late adolescence through older adulthood as they navigate life’s transitions. I have worked with young adults facing career transitions and the stress that often comes with major life changes. I also help individuals manage depression, anxiety, ADHD, PTSD, and mood disorders. Whether you’re continuing a treatment plan that’s already helping or seeking psychiatric care for the first time, I’ll meet you where you are. My goal is to help you feel respected, understood, and empowered to take an active role in your care.

I enjoy helping to support people as they navigate through the many different waves of life. I help to create a warm, non judgmental, and supportive environment where clients are free to talk about their stories. I draw from a number of different treatment modalities, but most importantly, meet the client where they are at. While each individual's experience is unique, I regularly work with clients around topics related to anxiety, depression, obsessive thoughts, relationship concerns, sexuality, ADHD, life's transitions, familial conflict and many more. In this busy world, it can be difficult to make time to focus on your needs. Therapy provides a space to do so and share your story in a safe and non judgmental environment. Sessions are a time to practice self care, utilize your strengths, and develop tools that help you gain a better understanding of you. I would love to have the chance to work with you and hear your story. Currently, sessions are teletherapy based allowing you more flexibility to be in a familiar setting and join from any mobile or desktop device. I would love to help you with the process of learning more about you and develop the tools to navigate the many waves of life.

Shoreline Wellness Center places a focus on talk therapy (psychotherapy) to help patients better manage the stress they encounter in their daily life. Working with a therapist has many benefits, such as coping with feelings, facing and solving problems, or changing behavioral patterns that are leading to some of your symptoms. In therapy, we don’t just talk about problems. The main goal is to develop a reasonable and doable solution. Sometimes you may have “homework” to complete for your therapist. This may include something like tracking your moods throughout the day, journaling about your thoughts, going out of your way to be social, or joining in activities that caused you to feel anxious in the past. Your therapist may even suggest for you to try to look at things differently or to learn new skills to use in your everyday life. Therapy focuses on current and past thoughts, feelings, and issues. Both are important, as they may very well be connected in some way. Discussing your challenges and having an open dialogue is the key to finding the solution to help your present and prepare for your future.
I am a clinical psychologist practicing in-person in Philadelphia PA and via Telehealth in Boston, MA. I work with adults with a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, trauma, coping with medical illness, immigration stressors, self-esteem issues, and questions of identity. I believe I work particularly well with people who want to feel closer to themselves and others. In my practice, I focus on building a strong relationship based on trust, acceptance, and authenticity. I create a collaborative, warm, and non-judgmental space. As you put words to your thoughts and feelings and examine current and past experiences, we’ll gain insight into your unique ways of thinking, feeling, and relating. Recognizing emotions and patterns that have roots in the past can free you up to live a more full and meaningful life in the present. My therapeutic approach is primarily psychodynamic, and I also integrate other techniques that can help with more immediate symptom relief, such as acceptance-and-commitment therapy and cognitive-behavioral therapy. Whether you want to address specific symptoms, cope with difficult realities in your life, or deepen your self-understanding, seeking therapy is an important decision. I understand that finding a therapist can feel daunting, and it's important to find someone who feels like a good match. If you're thinking about starting therapy, please feel free to reach out to me for an initial consultation. I would be happy to have a conversation with you about what you’re looking for and how I can help.
