Our therapists specialize in ADHD, autism, anxiety, trauma, stress, identity development, life transitions, relationships, burnout, executive functioning, and the challenges of balancing school, work, relationships, and everyday life. We understand that college can bring exciting opportunities while also creating significant pressure, uncertainty, and overwhelm. Whether you are struggling with motivation, procrastination, time management, perfectionism, emotional regulation, social connection, academic stress, or simply feeling stuck, our team can help you better understand yourself and develop strategies that work with your brain and your life. Our approach combines evidence-based counseling with creative expression, art therapy, mindfulness, DBT-informed skills, and practical tools you can use outside of sessions. My passion is helping youth and adults find a way to live their best life! Sometimes that looks like coaching for success and other times it involves addressing concerns that interfere with living well such as anxiety, autism, neurodiversity, social interactions, stress, and sports performance anxiety. I am paneled with many insurances other than those listed below. I am licensed in North Carolina, Texas, Virginia, South Carolina, and Nebraska. I am a trained provider of cognitive rehabilitation for (TBI) brain injury. Check on my website link to see if I have your insurance paneled with me. I look forward to meeting you!

Welcome! I'm glad you're here. Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and it’s totally okay if you're not sure what to expect. I work with students who are feeling overwhelmed, stuck, anxious, or just not like themselves lately. Maybe you're adjusting to college life, navigating relationships, dealing with academic pressure, or trying to figure out who you are and what you want. Many of the students I work with share a desire to understand themselves better and to feel more in control of their emotions and choices. You don’t have to have everything figured out to begin—we can work through it together. My style is warm, supportive, and down-to-earth. I’ll meet you where you are, and we’ll go at a pace that feels right for you. In our sessions, you can expect a safe, non-judgmental space to explore whatever’s on your mind. Therapy is a place to be heard, understood, and to grow. If you’re ready to get started—or even just curious—I’d be honored to support you.

College is hard! I remember how hard it was in so many ways. I'm honored to be a support to you through this important time in your life. I specialize in anxiety. I also work on post-trauma growth for those with a history of trauma. My approach is both "bottom up" (focusing on how your body/biology is responding to stress) and "top down" (working with your thoughts and mind to better manage the way you are feeling/thinking). I am heavily influenced by my studies in mindfulness meditation and bring that approach into our work. I have a strong interest in neuroscience as well as spirituality. I like to say that my goal as a helper is not to “make you better” but to help you discover that which makes you feel more alive. Your true nature is one of wholeness, contentment, and compassion; let's get you back there.

Is the eternal rinse, wash, repeat cycle of class, study, exam, & papers becoming overwhelming? All while trying to budget to feed yourself or have some fun once in a while? Is your family stressing you out when you're doing the best you can? Do you want to just release but don't know where or how? I want to tell you you're NOT "weird" or "crazy" and you're definitely NOT alone. As a therapist, and more importantly, a human being, I'm here to help, or simply offer a safe place to unload, be heard, and to find meaning. Together, we can learn to manage life's ups & downs. Together, we'll look at the impacts of your past and the promises of the future, while remaining grounded in the strength of the present. When we feel safe to grow, we thrive! You deserve every bit of fulfillment life has to offer. The fact that you've read thus far says you are looking for a way up and are ready for a way out of whatever may be troubling you. But how? Contact me, and together we will discover that your greater self is just on the other side of your decision to face your adversity and embrace it!
