Welcome! My name is "Dr. Ed." I'm a Ph.D.-Diplomate in Clinical Social Work from the University of Houston and Governors State. In our multicultural world, therapy is a safe place to respect your values and honor your strengths! √ I'm 4.6 rated with 60+ reviews on HealthGrades, United Health, Aetna and Cigna. My treatment philosophy is built on respect and appreciation of the dignity for each person I work with. Let me emphasize this one more time, YOU don't have to settle for a poor self-image from negative experiences nor settle with poor relationships with your family, spouse, kids and yourself. Let's figure it out..together.. My therapy specialty is working with adults, couples, families, and pre-teens who are dealing with feelings of rejection, grief, and situation anxiousness-including balancing family and work-life stressors. I greatly appreciate listening to the adult male voice in relationships and families. Learning ways to bridge the gap in communication styles between men and women, parents and children, is important work! Prior to becoming a therapist, I was a core faculty member for nine years at Capella University-graduate and doctoral programs in Social Work and Public Service Leadership. Outside of work, Dr. Ed enjoys traveling to Barbados, Cancun, Houston Rodeo, is active in the KAY fraternity, and is an Astros and Cubs fan. Hello! I’m Stephanie, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) dedicated to supporting adults as they navigate the complexities of mental health, trauma, and significant life changes. My journey in this field has been defined by a deep-seated belief in the resilience of the human spirit and a commitment to providing a nonjudgmental, empowering space where healing can truly begin. My Background and Expertise Background and Expertise My clinical foundation was built in the fast-paced, high-acuity environment of inpatient psychiatric hospitals across both the rural Amarillo region and the Austin Metroplex. Serving as a therapist, case manager, and court liaison, I have worked with patients facing some of life’s most challenging moments—from acute crisis intervention and short-term substance detox to the long-term management of chronic mood and psychotic disorders. This extensive background means that I am comfortable sitting with you through just about anything. Whether you are dealing with a recent crisis, navigating the heavy fog of grief and loss, or managing a chronic mental health condition that requires careful coordination and advocacy, I bring a wealth of systemic knowledge and clinical skill to our sessions. I understand the "social systems" of Texas and the unique obstacles our residents face, and I use that insight to help you navigate your own path to stability. My Therapeutic Approach I describe my style as eclectic, solution-focused, and deeply client-centered. I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all "fix." Instead, I view therapy as a collaborative partnership. We will work together to identify your specific priorities and the barriers standing in your way. My approach is grounded in: Empowerment: I operate from a strengths-based perspective, helping you rediscover your internal resources. Holistic Wellness: I believe in looking at the whole person—your environment, your history, and your goals. Evidence-Based Skills: I integrate tools from Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Trauma-Focused CBT to provide you with practical strategies for daily life. What to Expect In our work together, you can expect directness tempered with deep empathy. I am a firm believer in "reality testing" and stabilization, helping you find a "new normal" that preserves your sense of self while improving your social functioning and personal satisfaction. Whether you need a space to process a specific traumatic event, a partner to help you set and reach life goals, or simply a confidential place to vent and debrief after a period of burnout, I am here to support you. Start Your Journey I know that seeking mental health care is a significant investment of your time, emotions, and resources. To ensure we are the right match, I offer a free 15-minute initial consultation. This is a pressure-free time for us to meet, discuss your expectations, and determine if my skill set aligns with your needs. My goal is to empower you to create a plan of action that leads exactly where you want to be. I look forward to meeting you and helping you build the resilience needed to move forward.
College can be exciting, but let’s be honest, it can also feel overwhelming. Between classes, friendships, family expectations, and figuring out who you are, it’s a lot to juggle. I work with college students who want a safe space to talk it out, manage stress, and feel more grounded. My style is supportive and down-to-earth, we’ll focus on what matters most to you and find practical ways to help you feel more balanced and confident.
Hi, I’m Dr. Beverly Benoit, and I’m dedicated to helping children, adolescents, and families navigate life’s challenges, build resilience, and break cycles of generational trauma. With experience supporting individuals from age 4 through adulthood, I offer a trauma-informed, developmentally sensitive space where young clients can explore their emotions, strengthen their sense of self, and thrive. My therapeutic approach is rooted in the understanding that adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) and intergenerational trauma shape both the emotional and relational landscapes of our lives. Healing begins with attunement—whether that means helping a child make sense of big feelings, guiding a teen through identity and self-worth challenges, or supporting families in rebuilding trust and emotional safety. In addition to child and adolescent therapy, I offer family therapy and marriage counseling. I view the health of the family system as foundational to a child's well-being, and I help caregivers and couples improve communication, navigate transitions, and create secure attachments. As a clinician certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Comprehensive Dialectical Behavior Therapy (C-DBT), I tailor evidence-based interventions to each client’s developmental stage and emotional needs. I also incorporate insights from my doctoral research, including the development of Socio-Motivational Systems Theory, a framework designed to address the specific needs of children experiencing racialized trauma by integrating trauma-informed care with motivational and systemic strategies. At Kinder Mind, I strive to meet every client exactly where they are—with empathy, creativity, and cultural humility—empowering them to grow into confident, emotionally healthy individuals. Areas of Expertise: Child Therapy (Ages 4–18) Trauma and PTSD Family Therapy and Parenting Support Marriage Counseling Emotional Regulation, Anxiety, and Depression Grief, Bereavement, and Hospice Family Support Behavioral Issues in Children and Teens I’d be honored to support your family on its path toward healing and connection. We’ll build the skills and strategies needed for a healthier, more empowered future. Now accepting clients in Texas, Massachusetts, and Virginia.
If you feel that this is your season for change, I would be honored to collaborate with you on your journey. I believe in providing trauma-informed, person-centered care and specialize in working with clients who deal with ADHD, anxiety, depression, chronic physical health problems, life transitions, relational stress, schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, and mood disorders. A bit about my approach to therapy: Because there is no one-size-fits-all in therapy, I use an Eclectic approach, drawing from evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI). This allows me to tailor each session to meet your individual needs and preferences. What you can expect from our first session: During our initial session, we will explore what led you to begin therapy and collaborate on how we can meet your goal. In-between sessions, you will have skill-building strategies to use and check-ins during the following sessions to determine effectiveness. We will tailor your journey to promote symptom relief and sustained improvement using emotional regulation and cognitive restructuring.

Hi there. I work with teens and adults through complex trauma, relationships, life transitions, grief, anxiety and depression (to name a few). I also work with the marginalized in our communities, BIPOC, disabled, persons with chronic/rare illness and LGBTQ+. My practice is open to all. If you are feeling stuck or unsure about your next steps, I can help. I practice by getting in touch with our nervous systems as we navigate life's hardships. I use emotionally focused therapy and some somatic work. Get in touch should you need an empathetic person to walk side by side with you or if you would like to gain skills to help communicate with others.
Counseling should be affordable and accessible to everyone. We all need an ally to lean on at times. Struggles and hardships can be a natural part of life. We all need support as we navigate through stressful times. I see my role as a therapist as one of a caregiver, a provider of strength, and a collaborative problem-solver. I have experience with a wide variety of people, including individuals without a diagnosis to those diagnosed with schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and anxiety and depression. My practice is LGBT safe and affirming. I also have extensive experience helping people throughout the processes of both voluntary and involuntary termination of pregnancy. I enjoy providing support to my clients in an open-minded, encouraging, relaxed, non-judgmental way. It is important to me that my clients know that I support them, and that I do not judge. Life can be tough and overwhelming at times. Seeking counseling is a brave step toward a new outlook, I applaud you for that decision, and I am here to help. I pride myself on being accepting, easygoing, discreet, and affordable. I am currently accepting new clients, and I have a flexible schedule, so if you’re considering counseling, please call me. I’m happy to answer questions, provide information, and see if we’re a good fit. Supervised by Beck A Munsey, PhD, LPC-S
Dr. Rademan starts treatment with a thorough and detailed inventory of life experiences that could be contributing to current concerns. She also explores body pain and chronic health concerns as those can be impacted by trauma and emotional wounding. Just like with physical health, mental health can be impacted by earlier 'injuries' that flare up later in life. Many people have been in and out of therapy throughout their life and haven't found sustained relief due to not healing the root issue or concern. At the foundation of treatment, Dr. Rademan utilizes a trauma and cognitive focused framework. Trauma is not only major violence or death, but can also be a loss of a relationship, not getting your needs met when you were a child, or ongoing major stressors. Trauma can be described as anything that significantly changed the way you view yourself or the world.
Entering adulthood isn't quite like you expected it to be. Yeah, you get more freedom, but you also get the added responsibility of being "the" adult. You find yourself more anxious and experiencing these different emotions that leave you feeling burdened and overwhelmed. You've tried several ways to cope, but those only offered a temporary solution. And if we're honest, they weren't the healthiest ways to cope. Managing your day-to-day life has become even more difficult, and you realize you can't go on like this much longer. As a marriage and family therapist- associate, I am skilled at helping individuals and couples live a healthy and more sustainable life. I fully understand the challenges that come with college life and am here to help. Through our time together, you’ll learn healthy and effective skills to cope, identify how to name and manage troubling emotions, replace irrational thoughts with realistic and empowering ones, and engage more positively with those around you. College years don't t have to be something that you heal from as an adult. I can help you find balance and healing now.
If you're looking for a therapist who'll be your biggest hype girl but also call you out on your bullshit, I’ve got you. My sessions are 75-min because it gives us the time we need to go a little deeper. If you’ve got anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, trauma, and/or run of the mill existential angst, I’ve been there, so we’ll probably be a good fit. Text me and we’ll set up a time to chat.
I absolutely love working with young adults. College comes with unique challenges such as navigating the academic, social, and personal challenges that come with this stage of life. Whether you're adjusting to a new environment, managing stress, dealing with relationship concerns, or simply trying to understand yourself better, counseling can provide clarity, support, and practical strategies for growth. It is a confidential, judgement-free space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings, learn healthy coping skills, and build resilience.
As a former college professor I understand the difficulties of college life. As a POC I have lived through many of the same experiences than minority students encounter. I am passionate about helping younger generations cope wth the difficulties of today's world. I am multicultural and speak English and Spanish. (your.tiktok.therap1st)
