Working with me, you can expect a therapist that provides empathy and understanding of your experience and perspective while using structured interventions to help you feel better. I follow a model of therapy called TEAM-CBT pioneered by David Burns, MD. My approach to therapy includes self-help assignments for you to practice between sessions to help you resolve the problems you face now and leave you with tools you can use to address future challenges. I also incorporate elements of mindfulness practice, motivational interviewing and positive psychology in my work with clients. I work with adults (18+) and assist with a wide range of issues including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, work-related stress, substance use and more.

You’re not broken...you’re overwhelmed. If you’re a college student, grad student, or campus professional who looks like they’re “doing fine” but feels anything but fine on the inside, you’re not alone. Many of the people I work with say things like: “My brain never shuts off.” “I overthink everything I say or do.” “I’m exhausted, but slowing down feels scary.” “I keep it together for everyone else, but I’m unraveling inside.” “I don’t know how to rest without guilt.” On the outside, you’re capable, responsible, and high-functioning. On the inside, it feels like you’re carrying a constant mental and emotional load, and you’re tired of holding it all alone. I work with students and campus professionals who are: •burnt out and emotionally overloaded •stuck in anxiety, overthinking, or shame spirals •sensitive to feedback, conflict, or perceived disappointment •struggling with ADHD-style busy brains or emotional regulation •quietly afraid they’re “too much” or “not enough” You don’t need another productivity system, mindset hack, or pressure to “get it together.” You need a space where: •you don’t have to perform •your nervous system can slow down •your thoughts don’t run the show •you can untangle what actually matters to you How we’ll work together My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) -a skills-based, evidence-supported approach that helps you: •get out of mental spirals without trying to force your thoughts away •respond more flexibly to stress, emotions, and uncertainty •build self-trust instead of self-criticism •create steadiness without losing your drive or ambition This isn’t about fixing you. It’s about learning how to be with yourself differently with more clarity, compassion, and choice. Support that fits campus life •Online therapy — flexible and accessible around classes, teaching, and work schedules •Walk & Talk sessions — for clients who think better with movement and nature •Small supportive groups — connection without pressure or emotional labor •Between-session tools — gentle prompts and supports so therapy doesn’t live only in the session If you’re wondering… •“Is therapy going to be too intense?” •“What if I don’t even know what I need?” •“What if I’m not ‘bad enough’ for therapy?” Those questions make sense — and you don’t need to answer them before reaching out. I offer complimentary consultations so you can get a feel for the process without pressure or obligation. You don’t have to know exactly what you want yet. We’ll start where you are — and move at a pace that actually works for you. 👉 Schedule a free consultation at www.thereddoortherapy.org ⸻ Emily MacNiven CO Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) LPC.0019496 Founder of The Red Door Therapy & Wellness Solutions Online therapy for adults across Colorado 🔗 www.thereddoortherapy.org

With more than 25 years of experience in behavioral health as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC), I help adults from diverse backgrounds, including LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent individuals, navigate trauma, anxiety, depression, addiction and recovery, identity concerns, life transitions, relationship patterns, and questions of meaning or spirituality. My specialties also include depth psychotherapy, psychedelic integration, and identity and spiritual exploration for adults seeking healing, self-understanding, and meaningful personal transformation. I believe in meeting each person with compassion, interest, and respect for the complexity of their lived experience. As your therapist, my role is to be a collaborative and supportive partner who helps you explore not only what’s hurting, but also the strengths, meaning, and possibilities for growth within your experience. You don't need to have everything figured out before beginning therapy; we can discover the path together. If you're curious about yourself, I’m here to help you understand not only what you're struggling with, but the deeper emotional, relational, and unconscious patterns underlying those struggles, so you can move toward greater authenticity and a more grounded, meaningful relationship with yourself and your life. I look forward to helping you gain greater self-understanding, connection, and a life that feels more authentic, grounded, and fully your own. Depth-oriented, humanistic, somatic, and trauma-informed methods, along with spiritually integrated psychotherapy, shape how I help you explore the deeper patterns beneath what brought you to therapy. I bring genuine and deep attunement to your unique inner world and experience, as I'm passionate about helping you understand not just what's happening, but why. My style is curious, compassionate, and authentic, allowing me to tailor therapy to your needs, identity, and goals. You can expect a warm, nonjudgmental environment where all parts of your experience are welcome as we work together. Through this work, you can create meaningful, lasting change. My path to becoming a therapist grew from a longstanding interest in healing, contemplative practice, and understanding the deeper dimensions of the human experience. Over the years, working with people across diverse identities and life circumstances has deepened my commitment to providing care that honors the whole person. I bring empathy, authenticity, and a depth-oriented perspective to each session, creating space for you to explore your experiences, reconnect with yourself, and discover your own path toward healing and transformation. I love reading and writing, meditation and other contemplative practices, and studying mythology and spirituality. Gaming is another favorite of mine, especially D&D and MTG, and spending time with my family and my two dogs means a lot to me.
Life can bring stressful experiences that, ignored, can lead to feeling like we’re drowning in a sea of our own emotions and memories. These experiences can bring uncomfortable thoughts, feelings, and sensations that are hard to understand– It can feel hard to trust others and ourselves. It can be hard to let ourselves get close to the people we love. Thoughts, feelings, and memories can feel unbearable. If you’re ready to take a step toward a more balanced and fulfilling life, together we can: Release painful memories keeping you trapped Swim above the numbness keeping you disconnected Tame the spiral of thoughts keeping you out of control Does this resonate with you? If so, you’re ready to work with me. Through deep, challenging work, I will guide you to a renewed sense of connection with yourself, your relationships, and your world. Let’s get started.

Hi! My name is Dr. Gabrielle (she/hers) and I am a licensed clinical psychologist. First and foremost, I am so proud of you for considering therapy for your healing journey! Seeking mental health services comes with many hurdles and I am so glad you are choosing this path for yourself. I am passionate about empowering my clients to discover ways they can live authentically and intentionally. My approach to therapy is one of warmth and curiosity. I aim to nurture therapeutic relationships that are safe, understanding, and genuine. I typically work with clients who have a history of perfectionism and self-criticism and who may be experiencing low self-worth or dissatisfaction in their relationships. My work with clients often includes providing a safe space for self-discovery and working towards becoming more self-compassionate. Together, we will collaborate and determine what the best course of action is for you! I generally work from a feminist and person-centered lens while flexibly incorporating techniques from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as appropriate. I prioritize collaboration with my clients in order to identify their goals and to ensure that they are getting what they want out of treatment. I am committed to providing therapy from a social justice and anti-racist lens and I am an LGBTQ+ affirming and Health At Every Size (HAES) therapist. I absolutely love the work that I do and I am honored to be trusted to hold this sacred space with so many amazing people. My goal as your therapist is that you always get the therapy you want, need, and deserve. I strive to help clients recognize their strengths in difficult times and promote healing from past hardships, stress, and addiction issues. I use a holistic approach, with emphasis on the mind-body connection. I believe that healing takes place in the context of relationships. Therefore it is vital to establish trust and acceptance between therapist and client. Several clients have told me that they appreciate my compassionate, non-judgmental, and collaborative approach. I am a licensed clinical social worker and addictions counselor with eleven years of experience working in mental health and addictions. I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, life transition issues, and addiction. I work primarily with adults and young adults. I received my bachelor's from the University of Colorado, and my master's in Clinical Social Work from Boston University. In addition to my Master's degree, I hold a License in Addiction Counseling. I use techniques such as mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), insight-building, and strengths-based counseling to assist clients through the healing process.

Our team is well experienced working with anxiety, life transitions, stress, disordered eating and body image concerns, relational concerns, depression, and athletes looking for sports psychology services. Our therapeutic approach is warm, collaborative, and authentic. We integrate evidence-based approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and relational and attachment-based therapies. We intuitively blend these approaches help our clients shift self-limiting beliefs, strengthen resilience and self-compassion, and create meaningful change beyond the therapy room.
Spring EOP is here for any step of recovery, whether or not you have been to treatment. We aim to bridge the gap between leaving treatment and the transition back to life. For individuals who need to work, attend school, and have ongoing family obligations, the limited time outpatient therapy provides may not be enough to sufficiently support the investment that’s been made in residential treatment with the continued journey of sobriety. Many clients who have experienced residential treatment find that there is a greater need for clinical support beyond one session weekly; at Spring EOP we are here to support this transition with continued, consistent care. Additionally, we understand not everyone is ready for treatment, a client does not have to be transitioning out of a higher level of care to be an ideal client for us. We are there for every step of the recovery. We offer support to loved ones through CRAFT group as well as therapy for couples, family, and loved ones. We accept ages 15 and up.

My name is Zach and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with Altitude Wellness Counseling. I received my masters in social work from Colorado State University. After receiving my degree I went to Texas and worked with teens and families at a residential counseling center. It was there I learned and began implementing the backbone of my practice. I realized that a relationship is the catalyst that brings about change. Nobody cares what you know until they know you care. With 11 years of experience I found that problematic behavior is simply the external representation of an internal problem. With all this being said, I don’t treat a person’s diagnosis; I work to help the person learn to be bigger than their struggles so they can succeed in life. A unique aspect of my practice is that I like to meet those I work with where they are. I don’t use an office (unless this is desired) allowing me the freedom to meet wherever you feel comfortable. I look forward to meeting you and helping you overcome whatever situation may be holding you back from being the best version of yourself.
I have spent the past 20 years helping students with the work of school success and growing into healthy, happy adults. My background includes teaching high school, running a summer camp, school counseling, and directing September High School. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I bring these experiences into his clinical work. I use a variety of approaches to help people get more functional and feel more successful. Some benefit from Dan’s short-term, cognitive-behavioral interventions. For other clients, Dan approaches ongoing therapy from a Humanistic and Gestalt view.
