College is stressful and sometimes you just need someone to talk to who isn't your roommate or your parents. We do virtual therapy across Michigan, so you can hop on a session from your dorm, your car (not driving), wherever, no commute needed. We work with college students. We specialize in Anxiety, depression, family & relationship issues, feeling lost about what you're doing with your life, we've heard it all and none of it is too small to bring up. Sessions are online only. We take Michigan Medicaid, Medicare, BCBS, Blue Care Network, and Aetna, plus we offer a sliding scale if you're paying out of pocket as a student. Cash pay is $125 a session (reach out if you are looking into sliding scale!) Text or email us and we'll get you set up. Call (734) 215-5404 or email Jake@FullerFamilyCounseling.com

Life can feel heavier than it should, especially when you're trying to navigate a season of big changes and high expectations. You might notice you're constantly overthinking, feeling drained by a relentless cycle of daily responsibilities, or running on fumes as a high achiever who never quite feels like "enough." Over time, the stress of managing deadlines, next steps, and independent life can take a toll on your sleep, your relationships, and your energy—making it hard to actually enjoy your day-to-day life. My goal is to offer a welcoming, supportive space where you can step away from the pressure and talk openly about what’s truly on your mind. Together, we’ll work to better understand what you’re experiencing, find realistic ways to manage the unique challenges of modern transitions, and help you feel more confident, grounded, and connected to the life you want to live. When you reach out, you’ll connect directly with me. There is no front desk screening, I want your first connection to be as simple, private, and stress-free as possible. The way I work is grounded in warmth, respect, and a judgment-free space where you don’t have to have your entire future figured out. Together, we’ll focus on what you want to change, whether that’s finding more calm amidst daily stress, building healthier relationships, silencing overthinking, or reclaiming your confidence.

Hey, I’m so glad you’re here! Starting therapy can feel overwhelming, especially when you’re driven and expected to hold it all together. I work with holistic-minded adults, including entrepreneurs, professionals, athletes, neurodivergent individuals, transgendered individuals, and those with chronic illness or invisible disabilities, exploring identity, creativity, or burnout. I’m very laid back; come as you are. Curse, wear pajamas, lay in bed, be human. This is a space where you don’t have to perform, just show up. Only rule: please don’t drive during sessions or do anything that could harm yourself or others.

In a world that constantly pulls your attention in a thousand directions, it’s easy to feel like you’re drifting through college rather than actually living it. At Greater Presence Counseling, we believe true healing begins when you stop rushing past the present moment. Whether you’re navigating personal hurdles, managing academic burnout, or searching for a more meaningful way forward, our goal is to help you show up fully. We integrate clinical expertise with a focus on holistic health to help you shift from feeling overwhelmed to living with intention and clarity. As a former Director of Academic Advising, I bring a deep, practical understanding of the unique pressures you face into therapy. I know how interconnected academic and career goals, and personal well-being really are. Together, we’ll work on what it looks like to cultivate greater presence in every part of your life so you can achieve your goals without losing yourself in the process.

“The more I hold myself close and fully embrace who I am, the more I thrive.” — Elliot Page It is my goal to create a space where you feel safe to be who you truly are, and to meet you where you are at. The act of loving and accepting yourself can be a struggle, but it is not an impossible task. Using ideas like radical self love and acceptance, you can learn to love who you are today, and use that to inform who and where you want to be tomorrow! I find that the more you are able to appreciate who you truly are, the more joy you will be able to find in the world around you. I thrive to be flexible with my approach, and want to make going to therapy feel easy, and even fun! I have previous experience working in crisis intervention with survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and child abuse. Through this work I have gained knowledge in providing a trauma informed and empowering environment. I have also worked with individuals in the LGBTQIA+ community, and have a Bachelor’s degree in Women and Gender Studies. Seeing live music, and crafting are my favorite forms of self care. I value creativity and playfulness, and use these to inform how I move through the world. I have 3 cats and a fish that I adore with my whole heart.

Hi there! My name is Jessica, and my pronouns are she/her/hers. I believe the real job of therapy is to provide a safe place where you get to know yourself better and make changes in your life. My goal is to help you express emotions that are interfering with your life, and guide you through them at your own pace. It is a collaborative process where we work together to explore what you are going through and identify what you are looking to accomplish. It is important to me throughout this process you are feeling heard, understood, and respected. My idea of successful therapy includes you walking out with new ideas and new ways of doing things that fit your personal values and bring you happiness. It is my passion and privilege to join in this journey with you. I provide therapy services for adults, adolescents, and children. I have participated in several trainings over the years centered on play and art therapy techniques.

I practice from an insight oriented, relational, and multicultural approach tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual I work with. My priority as a therapist is to create a warm, collaborative, non-judgmental space where you can work through your concerns and make the changes in your life you desire. People seek therapy for a number of reasons, perhaps to alleviate symptoms or distress, improve self-esteem, or address relationship issues. In my experience, symptoms often “mark the spot” of a deeper themes you may be grappling with and I aim to assist you uncover what the root of your concerns may be. Often therapy helps increase self-awareness, develop deeper understanding of how past experiences may be influencing the present, and provides an opportunity to learn tools to address problematic behavior(s). Having spent the majority of my training and professional life working in university counseling centers, I am passionate about working with college and graduate students. I completed my pre-doctoral internship at Pace University in New York City and my postdoctoral fellowship at University of Chicago Student Counseling Service where I gained experience working with life-transitions, relationship issues, eating disorders, and sexual trauma. Other areas of interest include identity development and intersectionality, family dynamics, anxiety, and stress management.
