Hi there! My name is Taylor and I am a Licensed Certified Social Worker. I center my practice on joy and liberation by creating a space for individuals to show up as their full authentic selves. I use an empowerment, strengths-based model in order to build connection, establish trust, and affirm the strengths individuals already possess. I work with individuals who are experiencing domestic violence, trauma, depression, and anxiety. Additionally, I enjoy working with individuals who want to explore their racial and gender identities in a therapeutic setting.
It can be difficult to take the first steps in finding the therapist who is right for you. I prioritize connecting with individuals to ensure that they build trust within our therapeutic relationship and within themselves. Creating an LGBTQ+ affirming, trauma-informed space is the priority of my practice. I primarily work with young adults and older adolescents.
My approach relies on a warm and trusting therapeutic relationship where we can safely engage in healing work. We will navigate the pains and challenges of today, while fostering an understanding of how the past has played a role - all while inclining toward a meaningful future. I will provide tools for immediate relief as needed to support this process. I often work with folks who are highly sensitive, feel different or misunderstood, have overwhelming emotions, struggle with relationships, have low self-esteem, are queer or questioning, or are seeking to develop identity, purpose, and meaning in life. I would love to talk to you more about how I work, hear about your goals for therapy, and answer any questions you might have. I look forward to hearing from you!

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, New York and Massachusetts (LMHC-D)/Licensed Professional Counselor, Arkansas (LPC) and a Certified Cognitive Behavioral Therapist. I have a Master's in Marriage, Couple, and Family Counseling and a Master's in Early Childhood and Elementary Education, I taught for five years before joining the mental health profession. My experience as a mental health therapist involves working with clients of all ages, from preschool to adults, as well as with families, and couples. By implementing various interventions and techniques, the client is able to gain insight into their strengths, as well as discover new coping skills. I enjoy working with the client to help them gain insight into themselves, and their family system. I am passionate to be a mental health therapist, and am happy to offer support wherever I can. I strive as a therapist to help guide and support my clients in a safe and non-judgmental environment. I provide individual therapy to individuals who are looking for help to cope with life's various twists and turns. I utilize an organic approach to gain an understanding of your specific life situations and stressors that are contributing to your current feelings. I use positive affirmations, strength identification and skill building to encourage you to reach your personal goals. We will work quickly to alleviate uncomfortable symptoms while we learn to identify triggers that may cause these feelings in order to focus on making long term changes that will help you to move forward through life. I would love the opportunity to work with you to find a way to bring out the strength that is inside of you. You are capable of so much more than you can even imagine!

Have you ever felt like you’re doing everything you’re “supposed” to do, but still feel overwhelmed, lost, or unsure of where you fit? Maybe you’re trying to balance classes, work, relationships, family expectations, and your own goals while quietly wondering, “Am I the only one struggling with this?” I work with young adults, including first generation students of diverse backgrounds, who are navigating big transitions and trying to figure out who they are while building the life they want. This may look like feeling stuck, dealing with academic or career stress, struggling with anxiety or burnout, feeling pressure to succeed, or trying to find your place in a new environment. As a bilingual therapist and someone who is first-generation, I understand the challenges of finding yourself while balancing family expectations, culture, and your own goals. Therapy can be a space to explore your identity, build confidence, and create a life that feels authentic to you. Whether you are struggling with stress, perfectionism, relationships, grief, major life changes, or simply feeling like you’re not where you want to be, I provide a supportive space where you can feel understood and develop tools to move forward. You don’t have to have everything figured out to start therapy. Sometimes reaching out is the first step toward understanding yourself better and creating meaningful change.

Going to a new therapist can be a bit stressful; what will they be like, will they understand me or really be able to help? I often get college students who have tried therapy before and it just didn't work, they do well with me. I use CBT; cognitive behavioral therapy style, give open and honest feedback (don't sit and nod) and have a sense of humor. Graduated from Northeastern, I have been doing this awhile and have some ways of problem solving and really helping. We celebrate your wins and support what you need to be successful. I am always thankful to be invited into your lives to help. This is your journey.
